Of all the 70+ species of nudibranchs on our coast, the Cockerell’s nudibranch is among the species that is often most difficult to find. When searching for this species, it is not a matter of finding the right site or choosing the right time of year. It is simply a matter of time and patience. This particular animal photographed on Tyee spit, in Campbell River, B.C. was riding on the back of a California sea cucumber.

This card is 4”x6” in size.

Art cards come sealed in a cellophane sleeve to protect from smudges and fingerprints. Each card comes with an appropriately sized envelope for shipping or hand delivery. Minimal ornamentation inspired by local marine life is featured on the inside of each card.

In addition to the common and latin names of the animals featured, the the time and location of the photograph are featured on the back of the card.
