Of all the wildest marine creatures that one encounters in the Pacific Northwest, the Giant pacific octopus is often hailed as the most awe-inspiring. While the size alone of these creatures can be mind-boggling, they are also infamous for their remarkable intelligence, playfulness, and curiosity.

This patch is inspired by a photo of an octopus I had taken off of Tyee Spit in Campbell River, B.C.
