While they can get quite vicious during territorial disputes, this species is otherwise quite docile, sometimes even friendly. With a jaw strong enough to crush urchins with ease, you still wouldn’t want to get on a Wolf eel’s bad side!
This patch is inspired by a photo of the Wolf eel living in a den at the Outside Grouse dive site in Campbell River, B.C.
