Many naturalists spend years of their lives tracking down elusive marine creatures, among them being the masterfully sneaky Stubby squid. Their cuddly appearance and clumsy demeanour is matched only by a few other local species who are often equally difficult to find.

This sticker is inspired by a photograph I had taken of an adult stubby squid in Maple Bay, B.C. One of the first Stubby squid I had ever seen, and certainly one I will never forget.
